Airplanes for the rights of children with disabilities

In a gesture that is poignant and meaningful this October 31st, children with disabilities will be joined in the heart of The Peace for the launch of "Airplanes for the Rights of children with disabilities". This event, organised by the school, “Children Supporting Children” (NAN) of the Association of Parents and Family members of Children and Young people with Disabilities Jach'a Uru has the purpose of making visible the importance of ensuring the rights of these children.

The Association of Parents and Family members of Children and Young people with Disabilities Jach'a Uru is in addition to the campaign, called “Caps for a happy child” – 2023” organized by the Secretariat for the Department of Rights of Mother Earth, through the Directorate Management of Solid Waste and which was initiated by the Association of Volunteers Against Childhood Cancer, together with the company to PACK.

Young men and women of the Association Jach'a Uru demonstrated their abilities in a Fair, inclusive, called "Compartierdo my ability, my creation" which took place on 12 October in the Square of the Bicentennial. The event was organzado per Unit of People with Disabilities in the Self-Government City of Peace.

As a way to empower youth with disabilities from October will be broadcast by Abya Yala Tv program called “Breaking barriers, breaking the silence”, produced by the Association of Parents and Family members of Children and Young people with Disabilities “Jach'a Uru”.
This magazine miscellaneous, conducted by miss Gisela Postencio and the young Ariel Quisbert, across sectors such as: the interview, the protagonists, educational and informative notes, among others, seeks to empower the young men and women with disabilities to time to show society that they can be an active part of the same.

Part of an exhibition called "Together, painting a better future and building inclusive communities", participated in the closing ceremony of the event at the Public University of El Alto (UPEA), which was transmitted by means of communications, such as channel 25 UPEA Tv. The exhibition in the city of Peace shall be carried out on October 9, in the atrium of the cylinder block of the Universidad mayor de San Andrés. Are welcome and invited.

The Association of Parents and Family members of Children and Young people with Disabilities “Jach'a Uru” held last July 13, their thirteenth anniversary of hard work and dedication in the fight for the rights and inclusion of children and young people with disability in our society. For more than a decade has provided tangible support to those who face day-to-day barriers in their daily lives.
